It’s actually leaking from the top (lid) seam as well as from both water inlets on the top of the tank where there’s a pool of a gooey looking liquid pooled around them. The water heater will probably need to be replaced as it was installed in 2002 and I doubt it was ever cleaned. Just curious as to what would cause it to leak at the top.
What would cause my electric water heater to leak from the top?
