Just curious, because I found out our landlord has 2 buildings, a total of 8 units and they’re all only hooked up to a single water heater. He’s had to replace it more than a couple times in the past 2 years. Is that normal?
And is there some sort of building code violation for this?
It’s more than just apartments, too. There is a hair salon and a bakery.
There are problems with the water pressure and temperature. Sometimes the water completely shuts off if you take a shower and sometimes there is just no hot water at all.
What's the MAX number of units a water heater can be connected to?
