What is the difference between a regular water heater and a manufactured home water heater?

I have asked several plumbers, suppliers and the manufacturers and they cannot tell me the difference other than it is what the sticker says for safety concerns. A regular water heater cost $100.00 less than a manufactured home water heater and I tell you is 100% identical. I have seen inside both units, so I need someone who really knows to answer.
compare prices at Home Depot a big difference. Nobody has given me an answer that I haven’t already checked on either. Remember the water heater manufacturers could only tell me that it is just what is said on the labels on the water heater. They could not say that there was really any difference. It aint the insullation either
I have had people tell me that there is more insullation or more windings or the gas chambers are different. And both water heaters discharge from the top.
Keep in mind we are talking about gas water heaters
Thanks Blondie….. I liked that info, I would pay the extra bucks for tankless.
Nobody has given me an answer on this yet. I mean with facts.
I live in Utah and have never seen a man. home water heater feed from the bottem…although that may be the case elswhere it is not here.
