About 6 months ago I installed a battery back-up sump pump. When I bought it the guy at the store said that I might need to add water to the batery once a year. In the six months I’ve had it, I have added water to the battery at least 7 times (after the “low water” alarm goes off. Is this normal?
I’m using a battery charger. The back-up pump is the Watchdog brand.
Thanks for the tip. Where does the battery tender go? Do you plug the charger into it or does it hook directly into the battery?
